For those of you who dont believe that it will happen to them, rememeber the vast disasters in Hemel Hempstead and Brackmills Northampton. The difference between how these companies dealt with these disasters was vast. Only a small number of them had an effective Disaster Recovery plan. Those that did were least affected and managed to get their businesses up and running again very quickly, the others, well, are still suffering the consequences.
The other important factor to notice is that the problems were caused by external influences and were not within the control of the other companies. The impact of course was just as serious.
